Domaine de Caranella is located in the commune of Lecci, in the northern Gulf of Porto Vecchio.
This means that the easiest way to reach us is, of course, from the town of Porto Vecchio.

Port and airport in Porto Vecchio

With a commercial port linked to the ports of Marseille, Toulon, Nice and Italy, you can easily reach Porto Vecchio by ferry. These boats generally take 10 hours to cross the Mediterranean. The advantage of crossing by boat is that you can take your own vehicle with you, without having to rent one on the spot.

Porto Vecchio airport is actually located in the neighboring commune of Figari (code FSC Figari Sud Corse).
This small airport is a summer hotspot, with flights from all airports in France, Paris and the provinces, as well as from most European capitals and major cities.

Vehicle rental

A vehicle is essential to make the most of your vacation in Porto Vecchio.
Of course, you can rent a car at Figari airport.
All the major car rental brands are represented there.

However, you may decide to do without a vehicle during your stay at Domaine de Caranella. Our seaside hotel and restaurant on the beach at Cala Rossa allow you to fully enjoy the pleasures of a stay in Southern Corsica without having to travel every day.
Taxi transfers are available from the airport to Lecci.

Coming from Ajaccio or Bastia

If you haven't chosen to arrive in Porto Vecchio, then you'll have to opt for one of the two cities of Ajaccio and Bastia (Calvi being a very long way away for a Porto Vecchio vacation).
Corsica's two main cities are about the same distance from Porto Vecchio.

Bastia airport is closer to Lecci in terms of kilometers. Similarly, the road to the south is much "straighter". However, you'll have to pass through a number of built-up areas that will slow you down, with the risk of traffic jams on some unavoidable stretches.

The road from Ajaccio is a little longer and much more winding. It's also more spectacular, offering more varied landscapes between sea and mountains.Ajaccio airport is not in town, but already on the road to the south, which will save you a few precious minutes.
